This is the graph of price of Sold and For Sale homes in Sacramento County in the past 5 years, July of 2012 to July of 2017:

Year to year, July 2016 to July of 2017 prices went up 9.7%

In the past 5 years, they went up 87.4%. 

I emphasize these are numbers Sold, red line (Not For Sale, green line) single family homes in county of Sacramento.
